The connection method of the external curtain window directly affects its structural stability and sealing performance, and different components' functional characteristics require agricultural greenhouses targeted connection techniques. It can be divided into three links: 

1. Frame connection: Ensure overall structural stability 

Connection of the side window fixed hinge: The fixed hinge needs to be firmly fixed to the surrounding beams of the greenhouse with bolts, ensuring the precise position and not being loose, providing stable support for the side-reversing window to flip; 

Splicing of long-length side windows: When the side window length exceeds 6 meters, side window connection pieces need to be used for splicing at the middle connection point between the two sections of aluminum profiles. The connection pieces need to cover both sections of the connection surface and be fixed with multiple bolts to avoid gaps or loosening at the connection point, ensuring the integrity of the frame. 

2. Fixation of the covering material: Firmly attached, avoiding detachment 

The covering material of the external curtain window mostly uses 8mm thick sunlight panels, and its fixation method needs to balance firmness and sealing: 

Middle fixation: The sunlight panel is fixed to the side window frame through the H clamp to ensure the fixation effect. The H clamp needs to be evenly arranged at intervals of "one meter per one" and the groove of the H clamp needs to match the thickness of agricultural greenhousesthe sunlight panel to avoid the sunlight panel from shaking or detaching; 

Bottom fixation: The bottom edge of the sunlight panel is fixed together with the side window cover plate, the side window lower edge adheres to the bottom surface of the sunlight panel, and the side window cover plate presses from above, forming a double fixation and sealing the bottom gap between the sunlight panel and the frame. 

3. Sealing treatment: Reduce air leakage, improve cooling efficiency The sealing performance is the key factor determining whether the side-opening window can cooperate with the forced ventilation system to achieve efficient cooling. It is mainly achieved through the sealing rubber strips of the side window: 

The rubber strips need to be attached to the connection area between the movable hinge and the fixed frame of the side window, the contact area between the lower edge of the side window and the sunshade panel, and the gap between the side window cover plate and the greenhouse frame; 

The material of the rubber strips should be selected as rubber or silicone materials with good aging resistance and elasticity, to ensure that they do not deform or crack during long-term use, and always maintain a close fit with the contact surface, minimizing the leakage of cold air during the transfer process, and improving the energy efficiency of the forced ventilation cooling system.
