What are the differences between internal insulation and internal shading?

When we undertake greenhouse projects, some unaware clients often confuse the internal insulation system and the internal shading system, but in fact, they are fundamentally different.

The internal shading system usually employs aluminum foil shading nets, with a shading rate of around 65%. It can improve the ecological environment inside the greenhouse by regulating the light. When the indoor temperature rises to a certain level in summer, different shading rates can be used to reflect part of the sunlight, making the greenhouse more comfortable. The sunlight spreads throughout the room to achieve cooling. By closing the shading and insulation curtain, the greenhouse temperature can be reduced by 4 to 6°C, thereby lowering the required indoor temperature.

Using gear-rack transmission, the sunshade curtain moves along the direction of the coast. The drive shaft is connected to the reduction motor and the gear. When the reduction motor rotates, the transmission shaft drives the gear to rotate. The rotation of the gear drives the rack, and the push-pull rod is supported by the support roller and connected to the rack. Therefore, if the reduction motor rotates reciprocally, the push-pull rod can achieve reciprocating movement. Fix one end of the sunshade net on the crossbeam and the column, and fix the other end on the push-pull rod, so that the sunshade net can be unfolded and folded.

The material of the internal insulation system is a non-absorbent lightweight blanket. When the temperature in the greenhouse or indoors drops to the set low temperature limit at night, the insulation blanket can be opened to enhance the insulation of the greenhouse, reduce the loss of ground radiation heat, lower the heating energy consumption, and significantly reduce the operating costs of the greenhouse; during the day, the shading curtain can be closed to allow the greenhouse to receive sufficient lighting. Its working principle is the same as that of internal shading.

We configure internal shading and insulation based on different environments. In tropical regions, internal insulation is generally not necessary, but it is different in cold regions. In some extremely cold areas, two sets of internal insulation are required to meet the needs of the greenhouse.
