I. Design of Multi-span Greenhouse Drainage System

The drainage system of a multi-span greenhouse relies on ditches to collect rainwater from both sides of the roof. The collected rainwater is then discharged through pipes. The ditches must have a certain slope. If the distance between the ditches exceeds 60 meters, an internal drainage system needs to be added. 

II. Installation Method

When installing the drainage system, it can be divided into external drainage layout and internal drainage layout. The installation method is as follows:

1. External Drainage Layout

Install a head at the edge of the drainage ditch and install a pipe downward. The connection size is 100 millimeters. The rainwater collected in the drainage ditch can be discharged through the pipe.

2. Internal Drainage Pipe Layout

When the drainage pipe is installed in the greenhouse, the installation of the internal drainage pipe needs to be pre-drilled at the end of the drainage ditch. The installation process is relatively complex. If there is a longitudinal truss beam, multiple layers are required. 

III. What effects can be achieved after installation?

After installing the drainage system, the internal drainage in multi-span greenhouses will be greatly improved. Firstly, it can prevent waterlogging and excessive soil moisture. Secondly, it can also extend the service life of multi-span greenhouses.
